Fireworks Sale

The Falcon Band Booster Club is having their annual fireworks sale. It's their biggest fundraiser of the year and the proceeds help the Boosters pay for the marching band's expenses, such as cleaning uniforms, repairing/replacing band instruments, purchasing music, and feeding the band students lunch and/or dinner when they're away at competitions, just to name a few.

Bluegrass and Gospel concert and dessert featuring the Wintons Bluegrass Band. All proceeds go to Rescued Adoption Fund which is a non-profit organization that provides adoption grants to adoptive families rescuing children from orphan-hood. The Wintons travel nationally playing bluegrass music, and have played with and opened for many renowned bluegrass and southern gospel bands all over the country.

Calling All Bakers

This is the contest where everyone wins! First prize is $100, second prize is $50, and every entrant will feed 16 hungry people homemade apple pie.
The 10th Annual Apple Pie Contest is open to all local bakers and service clubs. Each entrant must register in advance at the Stanislaus County Fairgrounds. There is no entrance fee and registration begins in Mid-May and continues through July 11th. Each entrant is asked to enter two pies.
All pies are donated to the United Samaritan Foundation's Daily Bread Program and served as dessert with lunch the next day. Five local dignitaries will judge the entries on July 12th, the first night of the fair.
